Well the phone works well enough. It's perfect for text messaging but not for advanced use. scrolling the screen with your fingers can be difficult so it's best to use the arrows to navigate the screen. I like that when I'm on a call the touch screen doesn't navigate to other areas of the phone. It has the on/off button along the side which is great and it's easy to use but it takes a little getting used to. I purchased this product because I was having issues with my other phone and I knew I could get a better deal buying the phone on eBay. This phone is a lot slower than the Samsung intercept I had before. If you want a phone for texting and calls it's perfect but I wouldn't use it for internet use at all.
I love this phone!! Great for texting. This phone is very easy to navigate through. The slide out QWERTY keyboard makes texting very easy. The only problem with the keyboard is the top row of letters is very close to the numbers. For example: when I type the word very, it comes out as very6. Thats the only problem I notced with the keyboard. Calling is dificult especially when comes to ending your call. Touch screen is not great but works ok. One of the phones pros are when you recieve a text message or voice mail a bubble will appear on the home screen and tell you who the message is from and show part of the message. Love the camera- photos always come out great. Video camera is a nice feature and has pretty good sound quality. Overall the phone is great and I would definitely recommend it for a good starter phone. (updated September 24,2011) I have had my rumor touch since June and had to get a replacement because the touch screen would not work correctly. The person who worked their said that with this particular phone, to much exposure to the sun can mess up the touch screen. Although I was able to get a new one for free through our phone plan, I was rather disappionted with the touch screen quality.Read full review
this cell is similiar to the samsung instinct. if you want to make calls and text frequently then its just right. the touch screen is a nice feature and the keyboard is just the right size for those with thick fingers. easy cell to figure out if you don't feel like reading the book that comes with it or if you buy it off an ebayer who doesn't provide a book. the price is right if you're not looking for a contract and you don't want to spend alot of money for a decent cell phone.its a little slow when it comes to doing a web search but if you're heavily into that kinda thing you're better off with another type of touch phone.
I bought this on ebay to replace a rumor touch that I had water damaged. We were happy with the Rumor 2, so when my husband broke his, I gave him mine and got myself the Touch version. After my Touch died, I did not want to extend my contract through sprint getting a new phone, so opted for a used one. I looked through youtube vids of other models, but I am just so used to my phone, i'm just not ready to venture to something else. The smartphones are now adding $10 extra per line, and is not needed when I have an ipod. I really love the texting slideout keyboard the most. I think the battery is about the only thing that really bugs me about this phone, after only a year, it wears to the point it will die by the end of the night if not used much. they can be found online cheap, so not enough to disuade me from this phone.Read full review
Product shows some wear, no more then expected though. Was shipped and delivered quickly. Had to look up some functions on the internet as it has a slight learning curve but A+++
