One of the best smartphones out there! If you ever talk on your cellphone, this one is far superior to most. Earpiece voice quality is awesome; clear and loud. Speakerphone is clear and loud. It is front firing. (very few made this way). Texting keyboard is small but its a good one. Has a good virtual keyboard as well. Pulls in a good Motorola quality signal. Overall a great looking, perfectly sized, well made professional quality device. If I have just one cell phone, this is it for me.

Yes it's a smart phone but the processor is too slow and the Android version is also too old. Google play constantly crashes, Barely enough RAM to run the phone. Had to install an auto exit app to shut off everything when it goes into sleep mode for more than 2 minutes, If not the phone will barely function at times cause of the lack of RAM. The good thing is that the audio quality on this phone is pretty good. The small foot print makes it easier to carry than my Moto X. I can use Ringplus on this phone. I use this phone to receive calls and texts. I use my Moto X if I need a smartphone to run apps or if I have to do a lot of text messages. I got this phone for $10. For the price it's a good backup phone. I would not be able to use this as my primary phone.

This Android smartphone is great for those that want a mixture between a BlackBerry and a tough phone. The main features of the Admiral are: -Push to talk -This phone is also built strong and is protected from dust, shock, vibration, solar radiation, low pressure and high and low temperatures -QWERTY keyboard -Touchscreen Other key features of this device are: -the 5-megapixel camera with flash -3.5 MM headphone jack -3G data -FM radio -This phone offers 9 hours of talk time and 79 hours of standby time -Bluetooth, Mobile Hotspot and WI-FI -Expandable memory up to 32 Gigs with a microSD card The cons to this phone are: -You can’t talk and surf at the same time -The battery life is not as strong Overall, this phone is similar to a BlackBerry, but much more durable.
Solidly built phone good battery life and memory. The qwerty keboard is after the fashion of a blackberry feels a bit cramped and phone feels imballanced in ones hands while using it. There is a push to talk featue~button that is of no use to me as i do not have a direct connect plan; this button can be reprogrammed to open other programs. The Admiral is running an older version of Android software that is a bit slower and less intuitive than what I was used to from my previous phone an HTC shift. This being said this Admiral is a good buy for the money, err on the side of reliability. buy the Motorola Admiral.
In my opinion this is a great, little, high quality Android phone with a (not quite) Blackberry keyboard. It has a good loud speaker and is a great speaker phone, has great voice recognition (which allows you to bypass the keyboard) and a clear, small screen. It's out of date (Android 2.3.x, 3G only) with a small screen (as mentioned), so this is not a phone for heavy Internet users, But my main use for a phone is calling and texting. I also use Simplenote (not supported on Android 2.3.x, but Glance Note syncs with Simplenote and works well) -- I can take notes via voice recognition and instantly sync them to my computer. Evernote works well (I use an older version), as well as Google Maps and GPS navigation. Voice Search works well -- I've installed Opera Mini (since it's lighter and faster than the built-in browser) and set it up as the default, and I read books via Kindle. So for under $10 and using cheap phone service from Twigby or Tello, this is an incredible bargain -- BUT for those who use a phone primarily as a phone. (I can even use the phone for tethering to my laptop.) Meant to mention -- if you get one of these, I would suggest buying the Protech Shell for protection -- it also makes the phone easier to grip.Read full review
