unfortunately, this thing is NOT a 3G phone (i'm pretty sure!?) therefore, it will be rendered 'obsolete' by the end of 2016. it is a great, small phone that allows calls, which was all i wanted! it also has some other good features such as a GREAT alarm clock…too bad for the 2G problem…-oh well!

Affordable Nokia 2720 Fold with its superb call quality and uncomplicated navigation is a nice and basic phone to have. But Nokia 2720 Fold goes beyond the basic phone limits with its features such as Bluetooth, an FM radio and video recording. Nokia 2720 Fold is not at all a bad phone to have, especially if you consider the points that it is a camera phone, that is really tough to beat, and even the looks of Nokia 2720 Fold aren’t that bad. In a manner buying Nokia 2720 Fold gets you much more than you pay for the lustrous, though spot-prone fold handset. There is Bluetooth, video recording and music player to differentiate this phone from the basic phones. The performance is really decent and the large controls of the phone make the operation easy.
I've liked my 2720 so much that I bought a replacement one, plus one for my wife. I like the size, clam shell design, and ability to see who is calling before I turn on the phone by opening the cover. The buttons are surprisingly large. Bluetooth lets me use it hands-free in my car. Call quality is very good. Negatives for me are no speakerphone function and an exterior that is easy to scratch & smudge.
The Nokia 2720 is a fairly basic phone, if you're looking for a phone without a lot of flashy options, this is it. The look and feel of the phone is okay, the numbers are large and the ringer is loud. The voice quality is fair and the camera does well for viewing on the phone. What I like the most is that it has a sound recorder that allows you to record your own ring tones. It takes a lot of force to move the external buttons which I like because I carry the phone in my pocket and the buttons aren't being pushed when I don't want them to. One of the things I don't like is the menu button and the hat switch is too close together, sometimes I push them both at the same time and don't get what I want.
