I am used to Series 6 Nokia phones, but I must say that I am very impressed good this basic Nokia phone feels. The features that I miss the most are T9, Outlook synchronization and enough phone book entries. Plus if traveling abroad quadband/3G would be nice. Apart from these features, the Nokia 2610 has everything I need!
I like that it is a cheap phone, a go phone and it works great. I don't lose singal like crazy- I rarely do. It has all teh features I need. Text, alarm, calendar, calculator. It has tetris which is a great plus. On the down side it was hard to find a lot of the fetures. My old phone which was the older model of this phone broke, the speaker stoped working and I needed a new phone cheap and fast. I am not sure if I am sticking with At&T or switching companies and didn't want to spend a lot on a phone if I didn't know what I was doing. This has been great and I love it.
Nokia may not always release the most feature rich of phones but what features they do have...they do the best! The Nokia 2610 comes in both silver/silver and black/silver color arrays. Some of the features include SMS, MMS, and eMail. This phone rivals even the best and most expensive of cell phones in respect to reception and reliability! If you need a perfect backup up phone, vacation phone, simple phone for the technologically ignorant, or are just sick of having tons of devices that do "everything" then consider the Nokia 2610 as your #1 choice! The extremely low price (19.99 - 29.99 USD) and extremely high quality say it all!!!
I bought this phone as a replacement to my existing Nokia 2610, which is worn from use. This is an old style basic cellphone with very limited features ( no camera and difficult to text), but this phone has a week long battery life (with is unheard of with current models) and is relatively tough. I'll keep using this style until AT&T stops supportting its use or something with a better battery comes out.
I bought this for my teenage daughter. I absolutely love the fact that this doesn't have a camera or access to the internet. This is the perfect phone if you're trying to keep your kids innocent and naive as long as possible.
