Great little basic phone. I went from Samsung S5 smartphone to this LG Revere 2 basic phone and I'm saving a lot of money on monthly service fees from the carrier. This phone provides everything I need in a cell phone and is very user-friendly. It has a camera for snapshots, easy to use text messaging feature once you become familiar with the number key pad, and most important to me, voice comm's are crystal clear on both ends of a conversation. I also use the calendar tool to keep abreast of my appointments and the contacts list is similar to what I had on the smartphone. Overall, this is an excellent fit for me and I'm very pleased I made the downsizing decision.
If you want a basic flip phone (has a camera too), this is the one. I recently bought a new LG flip, and it was not as good as this little one. The sales person said that for those folks who want a simple flip phone, there is still a big demand for these and suggested that I check eBay. I like my old one so much, I returned the new model, am using my old LG Revere 2 and bought a new one just in case!

I washed my husband'a phone & we were replacing it with the same LG Revere because he liked it so much. Very easy to learn to use. Great battery life. We have used LG phones for years & have never been disappointed. Also, the larger buttons were great for my husband who has larger hands & fingers. Nice size screen but not recommended for web-surfing. Great for talk & texting.

I used the Lg Accolade from 2010- late 2017. Still worked fine however I would sometimes get black boxes on an incoming text from a certain smartphone user. I figured after almost 8 years, it was time to upgrade .I tried the Revere 3....slippery, hard to open, clear button right below scroll down button, texting cant keep up with the speed that I text at (unlike my 2010 accolade) and the color of the text on the classic or modern background was difficult to read compared to the old LG accolade. SO, I got the Revere 2. Not one complaint. It's like an updated version of the accolade. Receives all text messages and has a bigger screen.
