I bought this phone several months ago because my original phone - also an LG Cosmos Touch went out on me. I had my original phone for years and loved it so replaced it with the same model. By the time my new LG arrived, my old LG came back to life so I never activated or used the new LG. The battery in my old LG was not lasting long and the sound was not clear so I decided to switch to the new LG. I activated the new LG and immediately found out that all of the letters on the qwerty did not work. The letter B did not work at all and the letter N stuck so you had to hit it several times. This made it really bad for texting. Also, it kept dying. I was charging the battery twice a day, I even replaced the battery and had the same problem.

I bought this phone to save $$ on my phone bill since I only needed something basic. It fit the bill for the most part. It is very compact, yet has most of the desired features (ie physical keyboard, touch screen, camera, music player, extra memory storage capability, etc). I like the overall design. It is very small and not too thick either. The main menu and menu navigation is fairly simple and easy to understand. I personally like the size of the keyboard and pressing the buttons isn't difficult (I have small fingers). The buttons have a decent feel to them...not too stiff. The back light is also pretty decent...blue and orange. There are some issues though. First, using the resistive touchscreen takes some time getting used to. I have to press firmly for it to respond properly. If you are accustomed to a smart phone touch screen, this will be annoying for a while. Simple texting isn't always that pleasant. First, each time you attempt to send a text message, a message will pop up asking if you what you want to send: Text Message, Picture Message, or Voice Message. It gets very annoying since Text Message is always what I send. And I couldn't find a way to get rid of that prompt. Also, when a new text message comes in while you are typing one, the phone will stall and then show the new incoming message. Then you have to manually return to the message you were typing and the cursor will be all the way at the beginning. This gets irritating very quickly. And then there are times where the phone just loses its place while scrolling through the messages. I will click on a conversation, and sometimes a different one pops up. Or if I try to scroll from one message of a conversation to the next, it will skip about five messages and then I'll have scroll all the way back. For the reasons above, I've decided to return to my smart phone. The scrolling was soooooo much smoother and texting was so much faster & easier. I'll have to pay more per month, but the convenience of it should be worth it.Read full review

This phone is an upgrade for me, so it is pretty cool looking. It's not very big but had a nice touch screen feature that is easy to use. I also like that I can use it without a data package. I would recommend it to anyone that is looking for a pretty basic, easy to use phone with some added features and updated appearance.
This phone is a very good value. I bought it because it is an LG. The battery life is very good. I don't talk alot on my phone so it's in standby mode most of the time, the battery charge lasts for 5-7 days. The only thing I don't like about this phone is you can't take short videos, but that isn't that important to me. This is a very basic phone, but works well. It isn't a smart phone, but that isn't what I was looking for. If you want a good basic phone I would recommend this one.
