I bought this phone for my teenage daughter. I wondered if it would be high tech enough for her but as it turns out she loves the phone. She can send pictures from her e-mail to the phone to create unique specialized wallpapers and she can text ring tones to the phone. She loves the voice activated calling feature and the caller I.D. by ring tone. The phone seems to have good memory she has a hundred or more ring tones and pictures stored! The battery has been good, the talk time is good. The things that seem important to a teenager have all passed the test with flying colors. The phone is a good size and shape for talking, it is not too small, yet not too heavy either. The keyboard is flat so texting can be challenging, but my daughter has not had a problem with that either, the keyboard has some texture by the numbers and lights up during calls and while the phone is charging. The color she got is the hot pink and she loves that! The phone has a special built in corner to add a cell phone charm. Something that I value is the sound quality during calls, and I have tested this and it is great. The ring tone volume is wonderful you can hear it inside your purse with a stereo in the car playing. We have really, really liked this phone and would recommend it.Read full review
I decided to buy this out of necessity - I dropped my other phone off of my dorm balcony and afterwards, while it could still dial, send, and receive phone calls, I could not see the screen unless I shone a very bright light onto it. I searched "pink cell phone" into the search box and came up with the cute Motorola SLVR L2. I was not looking for a camera or mp3 abilities or anything, just something chic-looking that I could use to send and receive calls and texts to and from my friends and family. What can I say? It does those things well.
I bought this phone initially because I was looking for a small compact phone with all the basics. I'm pretty easy to please when it comes to phones. Small and functioning does the trick for me, but I think I kept this one for 3 months...or less... before looking for a new one. I suppose it's always possible that I just got a bunk phone, but in those 3 months I ran into a lot of problems with it. Buttons were sticking in or hard to push. Sometimes if I pushed 5 it would enter 6 or 4 since the buttons in the rows are not separated. It got scratched easily (even from just removing the back). The reception, although clearer than my previous phone, was not nearly as reliable and calls dropped more frequently (Same service provider). Also, I didn't like how you couldn't store multiple numbers under one name in the phonebook. That used to be a dealbreaker for me, but I was excited for the new technology and overlooked that...well it turned out to be a purchase I regretted. I traded it in and got a Pantech C150 and fell in love with that phone.Read full review
I loved this phone when I purchased it in silver. It worked good and was a good phone for the first 3 months of ownership, then things got wacky, with the screen shutting off, and then finally screen going out altogether having me to get a refurbished phone (same phone) and having the same thing happen nearly 4 months into owning it as well. I got my next phone, and that one would only work on the charger. So It was a good phone when it worked, which most of the time I owned mine was disappointment because it didn't/wouldn't work for me.
My wife wanted to get a cute phone that she could understand and that wouldn't break easy. She was really exited to get this phone. The only bad thing is it doesnt have a camera. Other than that it is an awesome phone for someone that doesnt do much with a cell phone. My wife doesnt text, and only uses the phone once in a while.
