Functionally this laptop is right on. Scratches on case are acceptable. A badly reinstalled and probably cross threaded screw on the underside, that can protrudes and can scratch a table top, is not good. It takes a tiny special screw driver that only a tech repair shop would have, such as the source of this machine.

Today I received my refurbished Apple laptop. As was advertised, I may expect scratches and normal wear and tear for a computer with a little age. The computer I received had been dropped on the right corner to the point that the top was mashed to the point that the gasket was out and could not be reset in its groove. The bottom was equally disfigured and extremely unsightly. The computer does however start up and load. I want to convey how disappointed I am with the cosmetic appearance of an Apple product, refurbished or not it was an unblemished $438 of my money spent on disappointment. I expected better.
