The mystic of fine silver takes me back to my "photo' class in the 1960's. In the Dark Room we used compounds of silver solution for purposes ranging from coating film to developing it. On the TV we would watch Lon Chaney as"The Wolfman," and know that a pure silver bullet would protect us. In science class, we would melt silver, and while in a molten state, expose it to a dose of oxygen. As the silver absorbs the air, it swells larger and thicker around 20X its' original size. Then as the metal starts to cool it shrinks back to normal. To test the fineness content compared to a "Walking Liberty" dollar, we used the ice cube melt test. Ice melts differently on finer silver. Check for yourself. Not bad from a 1913 "Black Diamond" model.
My grand-daughter loves buffalos. She's got everything under the sun in the form of buffalos. She's got stuffed animals to lamp shades to buffalo toys. So I thought buying a bunch of these silver coins at a fair price while silver is still a bargain would be a good idea. In the future, I feel that they will be worth much more than now, so it should be a good investment. Or worse case scenario, they'll at least be worth what I paid for them. Who knows... they could pay for part of her education in the future when I'm no longer here, and at least I got the joy of seeing how excited she gets now when I give one to her.

The coin, a replica of the Buffalo Nickel, is better than it looks in the picture and I am very happy with it and would recommend it to anyone who collects Buffalo's. All my opinion but honest in my eyes. Stan Ryan

I’m not a coin collector but I do invest a little cash into silver. This is not s bad buy. It’s a good deal in my opinion to buy for the weight and with the added feature of the Buffalo Nickel it’s a nice touch.
