Extends range that an alert is heard.
This chime allows us to hear an "alert" much better than just the receiver speaker. Also have one outside so we can tell when an alert sounds while we are in the yard.

We added this to our Dakota driveway alert system. It is the kitchen and chimes away when someone approaches the house in a vehicle. It plays a tune and the volume can be set low or high enough to be heard throught all three stories. Great value for the money.
