I thought this would be too good to be true when I saw the HP touch screen for less than $300. Expected a cheap, dysfunctional system with issues, but I was wrong and made out like a bandit. System is user friendly, brand new, as far as I can tell (it was supposed to be refurbed) and plenty of hard drive space: 500GB with 8GB RAM and CD/DVD-RW. It's plenty fast and easily connected to my existing peripherals, internet, etc...Really have no complaints and have had system for almost a full month. Definitely an awesome deal and shipping was FREE. Extremely happy...above and beyond satisfied with this purchase.

The new HP 15.6 toouch screen has some peculiar problems. First, it's "new" battery died after about 2.5 hours. Next, the touch pad (I know it has touch screen but for some situations I prefer the touch pad) is flakey, either too sensitive or not sensitive at all. The touch screen works fine. The touch pad is so flakey that I tried to return it, but I could't find info on how to do returns. I hate to say it but I feel like I'm stuck with it for a while. I'm very disappointed, and would still return it if I could find out how.

Exactly as described, quick shipping and very reliable. Fast processor and more than enough memory. Touch screen is convenient as well. The best part was the price.

As an semi entry level Laptop, it functions quite well. My spouse is disabled and uses it to stay in touch with friends via the social web and apps. In addition to monitoring her email account which gets a crazy amount of mail. With every thing running, she has no problems and it moves pretty fast. I would recommend this item to anyone starting out or just looking for a great deal

I have this and I hate it. If you're looking to do minimum work on this then maybe it's different but I'm a prenursing student that needs to carry this around everywhere and save many documents and the battery life isn't great, doesn't fit in any of my sleeves and doesn't connect to our printer at all and drops my home internet. I have failed many online quizzes and it's hard to explain these things to professors asking for retakes (which takes A LOT of convincing) So if you are a very serious college student especially doing online work, I highly suggest you look in to better options!
