I bought this book because I teach English and Goosebumps books are easy to read, suitable for average-level students. It is about a girl, Sarah Maas, who hates Camp Cold Lake and her bunkmates. One day, she tries to drown herself in the lake so everyone feels sorry for her. However, she only manages to get the attention of Della, a ghost who wants Sarah to be her (dead) buddy forever. Even though the ending has a good plot-twist, a few things don't really make sense within the universe of the story. Nevertheless, it is a good book for children to read. It's scary enough and appropriate for 10-12 year old readers and R. L. Stine reading is suitable. Regards, Voncroy
