Bought it for a dog pen, actually, and it is very sturdy and easy to put up and take down. We did not order the canopy because we don't need it, but be aware the product picture shows it with canopy. It does NOT come with it.

the add had the appearance that the playpen was included and the playpen is what I needed. the canopy was incidental for me and a tremendous disappointment when the canopy minus playpen arrived. the canopy was sturdy but absolutely useless since I had nothing for which the attachments were made to connect.
