Guys I'm 58 years old and have been an avid shooter since I was knee high to a grasshopper and have been using shooters choice cleaning solution as long as I can remember. With that said this is the only time my cleaning solution took the finish off anything. This must just be a black paint, very, very disappointed in this product to say the least. If I wanted a silver mount I would have purchased one
