I have a 2 and a half yr old, even tho we're working to get her off diapers, u should know that size 7 is hard to come by around in most common stores, so size 7s are more comfortable around the waist.

Ordered these because my son with special needs grew out of size 6 and no stores carry size 7. In my honest opinion they are the exact same size as the 6 but with a 7 stamped on the front. FYI. try over night pull ups size large/XL they work much better.
