Product functions as designed and as claimed. Lots of 2-level LED light in a functional package. At low level, still runs for MANY hours using 1.5 AH 20V Li-ion battery. At high setting, built-in aluminum heat-sink does excellent job to keep LED's from being damaged. Outside feels barely warm. Highly recommend it.

I had the DCL040 and it got stolen. I replaced it with the DCL050 and I love the dual brightness settings and the range of motion the head can be adjusted to. I can set it on a table and use it to illuminate the table or to illuminate the ceiling without moving the light. The hook is a great feature too.
