I love the fact that it's very easy to use, and it's very small. I was able to take it anywhere without a problem, being that I could either wear it around my neck, or just carry it in my left palm. It uses a tape just like the analog ones, but the quality of the video comes out far better with these tapes (8mm).
I had been a happy owner of a DCR PC110 for many years and it failed. I needed another mini tape playing machine with pass-through to move dozens of tapes to hard drive back up. I began watching ebay to find another DCR PC110 and to learn what I should expect to pay. Any where from $150 to $300 seemed to be the range. Then I found a recent listing "buy now" for $87 with free shipping. I bought it thinking I was extremely lucky or it would have problems, but if it simply performed as a tape playing machine I'd be happy at that price. The camera arrived, but it was not a 110 but the slightly older 100. It was excellent in appearance and it functioned like a ten year old bit of technology, a bit futzy, but with use and reset after reset it has gained its vigor. The price of $87 is the low end of the range to expect to pay for a PC100, so I felt lucky and it is meeting my needs like a champ. I have no complaints. I have never been disappointed buying on ebay, in every case my expectations have been exceeded!!Read full review
This camera was an excellent camera in the time that I had it. I never had any problems with it until it stopped working after 3 years of having it. Very reliable and easy to use camera
Just as described. Great buy, came in a day early.
