This is a nice cheap guitar very suitable for a beginner. I got it for my sister-in-law because she wants to learn and my wife is willing to give her lessons (I don't teach beginners). I strung it with silk-n-steel strings so they wouldn't hurt, removed the ugly black pick guard, and wow, this sounds like a decent guitar. the small body makes it ideal for a beginner, and at this price it's well worth it.

It is nice little guitar for the money, but we had also ordered their dreadnaught version and it has a MUCH better sound than the concert. The Rogue dreadnaught plays as good as much more expensive guitars, whereas the Rogue concert doesn't; still, it is good guitar for my eleven year old, who struggles with the size of dreadnaughts and cutaways that we have.

I've only had this guitar a short time, but it seems pretty nice for the price. I checked "no" for "does it stay in tune?" but this may improve as the strings break in. A new set of quality strings might help too.
