So glad that I found the original Posie to add to my American Girl Doll Felicity collection. The Lamb is sturdy plastic with the wool flocked on. Even more adorable in person!

I ordered this for my daughter for Christmas. I was so excited to find Posie in New condition. When she arrived, she looked like she was in good condition (maybe not new - there are little flecks of stuff stuck to her wool, even in bag) and is super cute. However, when we opened the plastic bag, a truly horrible smell wafted off that cute little lamb. I honestly am not sure I can convey how disgusting the scent was. I can only imagine a cage full of dead and dying goats would smell similarly. It reminds me of goats, but is not a healthy farm goat smell. It is mainly just putrid. I put her in the bathroom to air out, but she stunk up the room so badly I put her outside for the day. She's inside now because my daughter couldn't bear the thought of her staying out overnight in the snow, but she still smells awful so she's going back out. Not soft and cuddly like some of the pets such as the dogs, but super cute addition. Great for collectors. it is a hard body sheep with a little bit of fuzz on it. The wooly part of the sheep is very white and fluffy but I'm pretty sure it is synthetic and not wool. The face is sweet and I like the flower wreath necklace it comes with. It is a great alternative to the average dog or cat American Girl pet.
