I couldn't believe that high quality product, with that low price! But it's a true! It's working really good, I had too many before, but this is the best one.

The calipers are made of some sort of cast zinc or other unknown pot metal, definitely not the "STAINLESS HARDENED" the stator strip claims. There are screws missing from the slide, the ones that set the drag action so when used the calipers tend to drift and slide around unless held in place by hand or with the stop screw (whose hole was not drilled straight in the slide on one of them, so it changes the measurement slightly when tightened hard). It is also impossible to use the stop screw to achieve this drag as the top of the rail has been hand-filed to an extremely rough and uneven surface (for a precision tool). In fact most of the tool is as-cast and hand-finished, what little of it that has been machined looks alright but that's pretty much just the groove for the depth rod on the back of the rail (the depth rod is also much too narrow for the groove, did not fit tightly to the slide and was bent, I wouldn't trust a measurement made by this end of the tool). The end stops on the rail aren't even straight and the screws holding them in are stripped. On the plus side the electronic bits are the standard stuff you'd expect, work as reliably as the chassis lets them and they come well-packaged and with a spare battery (also the batteries are mercury-free, a nice touch and not common with this grade of equipment) In light of the price I can't be too critical but if they're any indication of the market as a whole then the age of the good quality $10 digital caliper is over unless metal prices drop again. They serve the purpose I bought them for (to modify for making wheel-on brake measurements) but I wouldn't use them in any sort of precision application like engines or machining, they're little more than a convenient alternative to a ruler as they are. There are calipers I've bought in the past at this same price point that I'd call an excellent quality precision measuring tool though, and these are far, far from that.Read full review

I bought this specific one because it came with a plastic case and battery but it has such a horrible finish as it was just came out of an iron casting mold. The measuring teeth are very coarse, the slider is very very bad quality. Its just so bad I am feeling ashamed for buying it. Anyway, do as I am now doing and invest in a proper caliper from a real tool shop for probably 30$ (instead of 10$)

With easy to read large LCD display. The storage box is included in the price! That's why the price is higher than similar items.

I'm sorry but the product is of very poor quality. It is not well assembled, loosened and therefore does not accurately measure. In vain, I reset it, it is always different, unusable. You should not produce such poor quality. I bought the buy, I do not recommend it to anyone.
