Not a rust reformer!
This product just provide surface cleaning similar to any detergent. I have not seen any steel rust conversion into solid coating. I had to use Rust‑Oleum Black Rust Converter which did the job at seemingly lower price. I would stay away from this product if there is significant rust covered areas.
