The one I bought was an Epiphone not a Gibson, but like its more expensive counterpart it still sports the screaming hot P-90 pickup. The biggest difference between the Epiphone and the Gibson is that the Epiphone model has a bolt on neck instead of the set neck found on the Gibson and was made in Korea. Epiphone only made this model for a short time in the 90's making these a bit hard to find, but when you do find one it is worth it. Minor shortcomings are the stock machine heads are not very good (I replaced mine) and the nut is a cheap plastic one (I replaced mine with a graphite nut) Once that was done this guitar is solid enough to use for gigs and recording and stays in tune really well after the above mentioned upgrades were made. If you are seeking the classic P-90 sound but have limited funds this is a great guitar to consider.Read full review

it's hard to find the 2011 reissues, but to find one this inexpensive with the Maestro is dreamy. I win!
