MXR Carbon Copy Deluxe, The gold standard of analog delay. Keep fooling with all the rest or just get the best. I run it straight into the front of my Deluxe Reverb without an effects loop with no problems and it sounds amazing. I run it in the loop of another amp, once again perfect performance and it sounds amazing. It is simple to use but has enough features to expand for the adventurous types. I purchased this over the regular Carbon Copy was for two reasons. 1- the tap tempo and 2- the bright switch (it’s like having the standard carbon copy and the carbon copy bright all in one pedal.). Once again, you can’t go wrong with the Carbon Copy Deluxe.

I am still playing with setting her up and going the x-tra mile to see how she is going to hold up. Playing music 45 years and in some cases things we learn get better with time and playing my 1st MXR took me years to try them, and I hate it took this long and I owe it to my hero of R-N-R ( EVH ) 2 try MXR products and will buy more as I can.

This is a very nice sounding Delay and the features are awesome. I'm sure that some improvements will be made in the next revisions....like footswitchable modulation on/off. The pedal is very well build and I'm sure it is rugged and road worthy. The price is steep and I think it would do better at $199 than at $229. Nice job MXR!!

Well designed, easy to set up, versatile, and sounds great.

Maybe this is due to this being analog vs digital but I have to turn the feedback knob to at least 12 to obtain more than 2-3 echoes.
