The audio out-put is not indicated on the specs...Seems that it is about 1 watt per speaker (X2). It has more than 10% distortion. If you were to add a 5-watt per channel amplified speaker, you will get 25% distortion. This is unacceptable. Good audio systems will have less than 3% distortion so you can amplify the audio without amplifying all that distortion as noise. The vendor should have tried out the TV before he elected to sell them on e-bay. With no audio spec listed for the TV set you can expect the worse. Some vendors’ list audio levels, some don't. Most fail to list the distortion specifications, but if it has at lease 5-watts per channel, you may assume that the audio may be acceptable. In This TV the picture is good, the TV takes less that 5 amps of DC. Power. That is good. Unless you are going to listen mostly on earphones, or, use an amplified speaker, do not get it. This is a nice little TV with lots of features, including a built in DVD player and AC/DC operation. Unfortunately the sound is less than optimal; if used in an RV, you can't hear the set while underway, and just barely while not in motion. Plugging in an external speaker fixes this shortcoming. Another feature which just doesn't make sense is the DVD's are loaded backwards, with the label facing away from the user. Very strange.

The DVD Player keeps freezing up and the sound is very bad. I have to plug the TV into the RV System in order to play a DVD or get some quality sound.
