After a couple of months, I have found the Chromebook CB5-571-C09S easy to operate and safe, since it uses it's own programs for it's system. A bit of a learning curve but, once you have read the manual, it becomes a pleasure. Fast boot time and Wifi, Wired and Bluetooth work great and , no fishing for drivers. I choose the 15.6", 32GB Intel 1.5 GHz, with 4GB of ram. Hope this helps those who are looking for a quick and reliable laptop.

I admit hesitation in purcashing a refurbished item but so far it proves to be in excellent condition, and it looks brand new. I am getting used to working 100% through Google and I've been able to find whatever I need through apps and Google Chrome. The battery life is incredible though I haven't run through it completely yet. When I do use it unplugged the battery level changes little to none. It's got a nice screen size and the speakers on the top are great. I love the black keys on white ... It just looks clean. The keys tap nicely and although the entire keyboard is slightly different than my old 17" HP (with side numeric keypad) I am getting used to it. I would say that I'm MOSTLY IMPRESSED by the tech help. I've emailed in three questions so far to Acer Recertified and recieved answers back within minutes to a couple of hours. I have multiple computers at home (Mac Air, Windows 7, Windows 10, and iPad Air) but after I purchased this Chromebook this has become my most frequent used computer at home. The thing I like about it are: - fast on/off by open/close the screen. It turns on immediately like an iPad. - fast wifi connection, as soon as u login, the wifi is connected - battery last at least 5-6 hrs for video watching, web surfing, email etc - very quiet and don't generate heats on your lap - big screen with good resolution 1920x1080 and good/wide viewing angel - can be connected to big screen for movie showing, same screen or split screen all working nicely. - excellent security and virus proof.... if your web page got a nasty cookie, just clear the cache and everything is back to normal. It's my first Chrombook, and it's perfect!!! Ligh, good battery; if I need Office, I can use it online and free. But, the Google Doc is better for the editing process. 15.6 inches is perfect when you have several apps, and perfect when you 're watching Netflix and YouTube. Full recomended.
