small enough for crowded spaces ans rather lightweight, this Del 910 mini-laptop can be useful in many cases. My experience with the batteries is good as it also is the only slightly slower speed. The machine can overcome hard drive space limits due to its SSD (vice a rotating HDD)by simply using a decent sized micro sd card. Just remember to take that along with you when you loan the pc to others. The only downside is the 9" display; yes it is handy but sometimes it is hard to work with its limits when trying to get the cursor on an icon or program button, especially if your fingers are big or your reflexes jerky.
Bought one as a fixer upper years ago. The ssd had to have a specific file loaded on it in DOS just to be recognized. Real PITA. Installed all windows from xp to 10 linux and mac OS none of them could load a single file without freezing for 5-10 seconds because netbooks are slow trash. Then to top it off a known problem with dell netbooks after sitting too long the battery drained and it completely wiped the bios... bricking the computer. Netbooks are now known to be the biggest fail in computer history. If you are thinking of buying one... STOP IT. Do yourself a favor and get an actual laptop or tablet.

My wife & I purchased the used Dell Inspiron 910 (Mini 9) as a travel notebook or netbook. Its size & weight makes it very portable and so easy to carry & store. For less then $150 we have an excellent device to connect to the inter-net, our e-mails, and the social networks. The used Mini 9 came with Windows XP, 1-GB memory and a 32-GB SSD - which is enough ram memory, computing power & storage to perform those operations & more. The screen & keypad are a bit small - but the trade-off is a very compact, functional and portable mini notebook or netbook. We purchased a used Dell Mini 9 instead of a new computer tablet because it was a great value and we prefer the keyboard to a touch-screen as an input device. The Dell Mini 9's built quality and the 32-GB SSD should give us many good years of service as well.Read full review
The price was right. It's very small and doesn't take much RAM or storage. But it works for me as a cheap, portable notebook computer.

I bought this product for my work. but it turns out I was buying a computer that was supposed to be working but the computer did not work. I had to spend two weeks trying to get it to work, but after all that work all i got was internet and utube videos. Which worked becaused I spend two weeks programming it. The speaker are shot and the camera does not record vedeos. which was what I needed it to do. I bought it because the add said it was fully functional. It was false I waste $55.00 dollars for nothing.
