Download the app to your phone and register, connect the WiFi, just plug in the power cord into the 120V outlet and camera will ask you to scan the UPC code on your phone screen in order to sync. That's it. Easy to add cameras too. Camera can turn 360 degress and also move up and down. It also has sound and you can talk from the camera (micorphone and speaker). In case you want to talk to a family member or your pet. The only negative is that it doesn't have great resolution when you focus in on stuff like a house thermostat. You will need to place the camera within a few feet in order to get a clear pic of the thermostat read-out.
