The sale fell thru do to breakage but purchased the same item through someone else. We have monitored our air quality with our digital smart scale (Withings) that keeps 24/7 track of air quality. The before and after is extreme. it clearly shows the unhealthy air quality especially during the night before purchase and use versus after. I was surprised because we have high, vaulted sealings and open our windows daily during the day. We also have 2 dogs so dander has been an issue despite hardwood floors throughout. I can whole heatedly recommend this product.

Okzy, the machine has one year left on a 5 year warrantee. Although it was carefully packed, two of the roller legs were broken on arrival. I called IQ Air and since it was still under warantee they replaced them for free and sent 4 roller legs plus the attachment they go into which was missing in this one. I ordered it to deal with sensitivity to mold. My clinician insisted I replace all three filters to avoid cross contamination. Two of the filters were noticeably darker and had stuff in them. Also when I ran it prior to talking with the clinician it gave off a funny odor that bothered me. Once the filters were replaced it was fine. However, I could have gotten a new one on Allergy Buyers Club for $700. I called and that was the offer. For paying $375 plus having to replace all three filters for $350, I would have been far better off buying a new one, and getting a ten year warranty. Assume if your buying one, you should replace the filters. So, no matter how much time is left on the filters. So, unless you can buy one for around $200 to $250 or if the filters were brand new (not likely) -- just get a new one, especially if you are sensitive to mold. Read full review

OVERVIEW: Many consider the IQAIR Healthpro Air Purifier to be the Cadillac of Air Purifiers (of course given the problems with GM it may not be the best reference). It has a list of awards and good reviews across the board. It is also the most expensive model in the industry for home use which means that the online air purifier dealers promote (and push) the unit because it offers the most profit. But it begs the question: Is it really worth $899? Pro's 1 - Best HEPA around for particle removal 2 - Solid construction 3 - Good customer service 4 - 5 Year Warranty Con's 1 - Expensive Cost 2 - Expensive Filters 3 - Louder than average brush-type Fan motor 4 - Does not help much with Viruses, germs, Bacteria, Mold, Mildew (from top-air-purifier-reviews.org review site) Conclusion The 3 stages of purification are very well done (HEPA, Carbon, Pre-filter) although it excludes many technologies that can kill germs, bacteria, mold, viruses, etc. It’s HEPA filter is one of the largest you'll find – however it is also one of the most expensive to replace. It will cost you to run this unit. There are two conditions by which I recommend the HealthPro and that is; 1) you have a serious lung condition and 2) money is no object. With serious lung conditions you don't want to play around with less expensive models - even if they can do 80% of what IQAIR can do for 1/3 the price. But you will end up paying $340-500 a year to maintain this air purifier. If you have mild to moderate allergies, or simply want cleaner, healthier air, then I would recommend you buy 2 air purifiers with more technology (UV, negative ions, etc.) that can also handle germs, bacteria, viruses, etc. for the same (or less) money than 1 IQAIR Purifier. It is a great air purifier, but you're paying top dollar for something that is Swiss made. nothing against the Swiss - it's just that the labor costs are more, and some of the technology is a bit outdated (ie: "brush motor")Read full review
So if you are looking at this IQAir HealthPro system, you already know this is by far the best air quality unit you can buy. But is it worth the money? Resounding "Yes!" I have asthma and allergies, and my house is moldy. My health really was suffering from all of these factors. I knew I needed something to address the dust mites and all the other stuff in the air. I have security cameras in my house, and when I checked the DVR I saw these little fibrous matter floating in the air. That was it for me. I decided to go all out and bought an IQAir HealthPro Plus. It's a little like throwing an anvil at a mosquito. But wow, what a difference. My breathing is much better (not perfect but better), I am clearing my throat a lot less. The air is noticeably cleaner. Currently I run the unit around 1-3 (Speeds up to 6), because the faster the speed is, the louder the unit is. It has a timer so you can run it at a lower speed when you are not home or it can shut it off entirely and turn it on when you want during the day. It has three different filters and the readout tells you how long before the filters need to be replaced. Each filer has it's own duration. This IQAir is Swiss made, so there is quality built in. Only negative is the fast fan speeds. After speed three, it gets a little loud. But, its relative to what you need... if you are an allergy sufferer and nothing else has worked... The faster speed might trade off how much better you feel. This is the real deal in air purifiers. Good luck.Read full review
Pros: It's the best-rated air purifier in the world, and for good reason. Cons: It's spendy and a little loud. Also, new V5 air filter elements have a strong charcoal smell for about 2 hours. We got this air purifier when we lived in a city that had a coal power plant, coal fired steel mill, and carbon coating plant all in close proximity. This air purifier did an awesome job eating up the super-small (less than 3 micron) particles that are air pollution and helped with the smell, too. My son and I slept so much better after this had been running in our home for a couple days. It's only rated for 900 sqft, but we purified an area of 1075 sqft and it still performed well.
