I've owned one of these (now two - just bought another) for many years and use it with three external sensors to keep tabs on temps in my nearby apartment's rooms. Together with our security system this keeps me totally aware of conditions year-round. Hint: One time I thought I had a problem with one of the sensors after changing batteries in that sensor. Nope! Turns out one must "re-boot" the main unit for it to re-recognize all the sensors. Simply remove the batteries in the main unit and re-install. Two Thumbs Up.

Outdoor sensor and indoor thermometer sensor differed in temperature reading by 2 to 3 degrees F. Comparing these readings to three other thermometers I have, I believe it's the outdoor sensor that is the one with the inaccurate reading. As I said, "You had one job...".

I purchased one of these many years ago and it finally wore out so I was interested in purchasing the same product again. Just like the old one, the new one worked immediately and functions great. I get my inside and outside temperatures with the daily highs and lows (outside). It starts measuring the outside temps based on when it starts up, so I like to plug in the batteries late at night or early in the morning to try and catch the low temperature about the time it reaches it, then it continues to cycle from that point on. It's a very handy product. Just make sure the outside monitor is placed where the sun does not shine directly on it or you'll get bad readings.

The inside temperature is 3 degrees off. The outside temperature is ok. It is accurate to 1 degree. Looks nice and easy to read. Problem is inside temperature is 3 degrees off. Not accurate. Not good enough. This product gets 3 stars

The unit arrived quickly as stated. The problem I have is that it is inaccurate. The indoor reading is 2 to 3 degrees higher then my other units and the outdoor reading is as much as 10 degrees lower then other units and there is no way to adjust it. I find this unacceptable even for an inexpensive unit. My other units are all within a degree. If you need an accurate unit this is not it.
