Good construction, great idea
I have not been able to get this remote to work for my Sanyo system yet, but I have not given up. I will continue to search codes and update my rating when I'm successful. My system is a Sanyo but another company took over production, so my code may be hidden under that name--unfortunately, I can not remember who took over the Sanyo mini-split systems.

Won't work with my new Carrier ductless system.
Couldn't get it to program to my new Carrier split unit no matter how hard I tried. I tried every Carrier code and also allowed it to do the auto-search. Occasionally, it would hit on a code where a few buttons would work, but many functions, including power off, I never got to work. Since the unit works perfectly with the factory remote, clearly it's not my system.

Great replacement for faulty remote control!
It does the job as expected. Easy to program. Provides room temp and set temp. That's a cool feature. All features works and the screen is big and ligthed. Lightweight. The price is excellent. The only thing is that the "set temp" button is just one that you press sideways to get the disired temp. Would be better if it has "up" and "down" separate buttons for the temp but critical. I'm using it with a Trane mini split 24btu console.It does the job as expected. Easy to program. Provides room temp and set temp. That's a cool feature.
