    Improvement over conical

    I used this stylus as a replacement for the conical stylus on an AT3482P cartridge. It was a definite improvement. I did not want to spend a lot of money on a new cartridge/ stylus for my old 1980's era Technics Direct Drive Turntable. This eliptical stylus brings out a bit more high end but also reduces sibilance, not completely but it is better. For $35 this was an easy, effective upgrade.
