I bought this DVD because I like Sara Ivanhoe's approach to yoga. She is very easy to follow and demonstrates poses while talking you through each move--really helpful if you are a beginner like me! This DVD has some challenging moves and I actually feel like I am improving each time I do them. I would highly recommend this and any other Sara Ivanhoe 20 minute makeover, especially if you are new to yoga and want to become familiar with different poses. Two thumbs up!
I have tried all five of the discs in this series and this is by far my favorite. This DVD focuses on a lot of twisting movements. I am not very flexible and have knee (as well as other joint) problems and found this video very do-able and quite enjoyable. I would recommend this for anyone, especially beginners.
This is not by far the hardest yoga dvd I have, but all of Sara Ivanhoe's workouts leave you stretched out and feeling refreshed. This is a decent workout just not real strenuous. Beautiful outdoor setting. Sara has a very pleasant voice, comes off as a very sweet person. I thoroughly enjoy all of her workouts.
I didn't even feel like I actually got a decent workout with this, and it deff. did not seem like 20 minutes, more like 10. I bought the denise austin pilates dvd because she's always had good workout routines that make you feel good when your done.
Sara Ivanhoe is an excellent instrucor giving the student cues when to inhale and exhale in order to practice smoothly. This video along with its counterparts provide a quick and effective workout that leave you feeling more healthy.
