This radio is nothing short of, incredible. 1st thing you'll notice is it weighs like a brick. It's heavy. Because it's full of quality components. Yes...It's from China. But this transistor radio was designed right and the price point is amazing. I live in the Pac NorthWest, I opened it up, dropped in the included battery, and I was pulling AM stations from California...In the day time! The tuner is outstanding! Local stations come in and sound better than any small radio I own. I love that this radio can pull stations from other states. The FM signal from local stations is locked on, all of them. And the sound quality from this little thing is impressive. The Short Wave pulls nothing for the most part. I've used it at night, with no additional antenna. I will connect it to a SW antenna soon and give that a try. I do hope it works, but I have yet to receive even the atomic clock out of Fort Collins, CO. It needs an additional antenna source so I'll have to wait and see how the shortwave is. The BlueTooth pairing when using it with my Samsung cell phone works flawlessly. That's great because I can pull a podcast off my phone and transfer it to this radio. It works PERFECTLY! Haven't tried the micro USB, or Type A USB yet. Only down side if using AA alkaline batteries (which is a terrific option as opposed to the low mAh (mini amp housr) included battery, the AA will last only approximately 3 days of solid use at modest volume. So that's not good. But the J-Type rechargeable battery is included but it's only about 700mAh so it doesn't last that long either but at least you can recharge it...If you have the cable. No cable is included. All said, this is a FANTASTIC radio. I'm going to buy a few more to have around.Read full review

Portable and lightweight with easy to understand features. Have not tried the bluetooth. A headphone jack would be a plus. Overall, a good unit for the price.

Designed in US for Americans, built in China. The Bluetooth connection voice is an Asian voice that is maybe appropriate considering who built it though for some it may seem less than memory. Supersonic is good brand name, it seems when you first open it. The weight is good, not skimpy, solid. Everything work, and it has a rechargeable battery, recharged with USB cord. Also very important, it has second battery option, the first is similar to cell phone battery and second takes three AAA batteries. The size is only 3 by 5 inch amazing how much technology they can fit in small package. I paired Bluetooth to my cell phone and played a Pandora song, sounds clear. AM/FM frequencies dial in, though short wave frequencies I did not find anything on cloudy mid afternoon day, though I think clear night skies are best for short wave radios. On my camping trip I may find it work exceptional, I don't know. The antenna fold out sold quality type and secure when folded back into place. Also I looks like it is replaceable it if it gets broken. It has a memory card slot, though card not included. Really great deal, and comes with nice box packaging you will ant to keep, so it seems new. Read full review

This radio is 3”x5”, very small. I was expecting maybe double that size. For its size, it is VERY loud, seems to pick up many stations & has many different options. I was impressed.
