Truly HIGH DEFINITION picture for an IP camera. Love the outcome after setting it all up. Beautiful picture, strong wifi signal detection! I've had MANY cams that can't hold a feed from the far corner of my house, but this is the FIRST CAM I have ever owned that doesn't drop signal from that distance! I'm impressed!! Cons: I have owned just about every IP cam out there and this one is a bit more difficult than most. Sure, there are much worse, but this one was pretty difficult. The ethernet and wifi connections have different IP addresses and you have to know when to switch from one to the other. Setting the password is strange... You have to install 3 different things to get it all setup... After you are done though, you feel like you really accomplished something! ha

If you use the strange app (V380) and enjoy getting emails written in Chinese, then this is the camera for you. If you want to use RTSP or ONVIF, do not buy this camera, it does not work. After debugging the ONVIF info this camera gives(which does not conform to the ONVIF standards, it fails 99% of the ONVIF tests). I found the RTSP URI's, rtsp://[ip]/live/ch00_1 (720P) and rtsp://[ip]/live/ch00_0 (480P). When you access the 720P stream, the first frame is clear, but the subsequent stream breaks the image making it unusuable. When you disconnnect from the 720P stream, the camera restarts. The 480P stream works pretty good, but it distorts it as its 640x480 (4:3) from a 1280x720P Which leads me to the next big problem, the Wifi range is 1 regular drywall wall, or 20 feet. Camera was 15 feet from the router but through 3 walls, didnt work (yes the antenna was connected). Returning.Read full review

Really a good little camera for the money, and surprisingly good video quality even at night. The setup was a little less than intuitive and took longer than I thought it should, but once I figured it out, it was great. At a fraction of the cost of a Dropcam or similar, I'd highly recommend it.

It's small and a good price. The software is lacking in features and you can't connect to it via a browser. It does work with the phone app and the night vision is pretty good. I spent quite a while on this and never did get it set up. I am an extremely experienced network technician (28 years in the field until I retired) and could not get it to connect to my router. And I tried 3 cameras. The documentation is extremely poor. It gives you steps to connect but if those steps fail there is no troubleshooting. I tried changing the encryption protocol to the less secure and more easily accessed WEP and it still didn't work. I was working 4 feet from my router and it kept saying the signal was too weak. Meanwhile, with the existing cameras I want to replace, Chromecasts, Firestick, tablets, phone and computers, I have 17 devices connected to my router and none of them ever gave me a problem.
