This is a very well made RC. I think crawler is a little misleading as this 4WD machine is super fast! I love it! It is well worth what I paid! :-) This one has a large motor, and getting a second battery is recommended. 15-20 of drive time if driving hard. If taking it slow on a trail, you could get 30min plus out of this thing. I walked it around the grass and side walk of my apartments for about 45min before the bat died. Tires are ok / nice. Could use a small upgrade here. Lights do work nicely. 6 LED headlights total. Stay on all the time. Very durable! My son has crashed and rolled this thing into some scary looking flips and rolls that tumble across the ground a dozen times before coming back to rest in one of three positions... lol Front dogbone style axles are a must for replacement parts as these seem to be one of the first parts to bend and make it run noisy with more vibration. Running strong with no totally broken parts after about 2 dozen times charging the battery. Looks like there are plenty of replacement parts at reasonable prices. You can't go wrong with this one at this price. It is heavy and fast! 540 motor. Not good for younger children. Too fast and strong. 14 years and up is accurate. Young children could get hurt badly by this toy. My 7 year old boy can handle it but, adult supervision is recommended. At this time I have no issue with this inexpensive, but powerful and FAST 4WD RC. Five Stars! I feel this could use some upgraded tires. Slightly larger than what comes with the RC. I'll try to leave the type brand and where I get them when I find that upgrade as well. Plus I've been running with with two bats and a parallel slitter. I'm planning on upgrading everything from the motor, ecs, shocks, and more. The back axle is straight with a diff like a pickup truck. This is a fun rc car first and foremost. I tend to bash harder than I should and just deal with the aftermath. Be prepared, if you choose to purchase this rc, to rebuild the gear sets. The motor in this rc shreds the final 12T and 24T gears on the ends of the metal driveshaft. They simply spin off of the axles. Too much torque. Buy a gear set for this when you purchase it and upgrade it out of the box. Otherwise it will limp along or just get tossed because most people wont fix these things. If it came with metal gears I would buy another one.

so far this car has held up well. My not quite 4 year old grandson loves it, but he has trouble controlling the speed. Hence, it has crashed into objects at high speed multiple times and it hasn't broken yet. This car is really best for an older user. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars, is the front wheel alignment. The wheels point out a bit and there is no adjustment to set the wheel alignment. The car runs fine as is, but the tires will wear faster than normal.
