I've been working band sound for quite a few years, and I've dealt with wireless mics from Nady, Shure, and even some cheaper, no-name types. This Rockville system is as good as the Shure system, in my opinion! The mics are lightweight, so the singers won't have to worry about having to think they're curling weights when they sing. The sound quality is outstanding, the signal is very strong, and they don't ring out feedback like a lot of wired mics. Overall, it's a good quality system that I wouldn't be afraid to gig with. Go ahead and get one or three- you won't be disappointed!

Heard good things about UHF systems, supposed to be better than VHF, maybe in the really high end systems. In a side by side test when I received my Rockville, I set both systems up, my $70.00 Pyle VHF and the Rockville. At about 30 feet... and again at about 50 feet...line of sight with the receivers, using a sound source, both systems lost signal at exactly the same time. Had both mics in hand at the same time, so there was no difference in angle or time frame. Not really impressed at all, having the same issues as my VHF system and the UHF system...dropped signals. Used only once in live entertainment but, distance from receiver was very short, inside, either inside booth or just in front of the booth.

Very warm sound not harsh. Very loud mics Great for the singers that don't project very loud. Takes a lot to make them feedback. Sound as good as my 58's
