This super small 15mm lens works perfectly on Sony A7Sii and Sony A6000 (effectively 22mm on APS-C). I bought the Leica M mount lens and couple it using a Fotodiox DLX Series Leica M to Sony E-Mount close focus adapter. I researched the heck out of adapters and am certain I bought the right one. The lens focuses super fast and smooth. It’s so wide you can shoot all day at infinity unless you want to do close work. For that, the lens and adapter work in perfect Union. It’s my first Voigtlander, but won’t be the last. Edit update 1/9/18: Now that I have been using this lens, I am even more sold on it. Just make sure you want to shoot WIDE, particularly on a full frame camera.

Version 3 of the Voitlander 15mm is optically better to the 1st and second versions by reducing vignetting at f/4.5, however, it is also twice the size, and loses the convenience and functionality of the focus tab. For this reason, I'm keeping version II and getting rid of version III. You can always remove vignetting by just stopping down.

I bought this particular lens to meet a need for wide angle coverage on a Nex-7 using a leica M mount. I was aware of the magenta color issues at the edges of the frame prior to the purchase and felt working these issues out via photoshop or darkroom programs would be justified because of the lens price. The lens is of a very high quality indeed. Both in optics and in the construction; It is not a Leica lens, but for the price, offers a very attractive alternative being the Leica lens is about $3000. In general, I respect the Voigtlander line of lenses and I would suggest to a friend that they consider this lens or any of the Voightlander lenes as a second lens using a M mount. Beyond the color distortion in the corners, I would like the lens to be a little faster than 4.5. Other than that I am satisfied with the purchase.Read full review
A really great lens. I had one on a Voigtlander Bessa a few years back and loved it. Sold the camera and lens when I went all digital. Now with a Sony A7ii I can use it again. So happy. Great contrast, accurate colors, and exceptionally well built. Highly recommend it to any photographer looking for a non-fisheye wide-angle.

It's a great lens. Distortion is almost none if you keep it level and plumb. So much depth of field that guessing focus is easy, it's small and light and the finder is great. Drawback- It's a f4.5. So it's slow, if you are used to shooting with fast glass it's humbling to be reminded of that when you're rocking along at 1/60 and 2.8 and now your shutter is slow.
