The screen is of good quality, and responds accurately. The best thing about this reader seems to me the possibility to read Internet articles by Pocket function, which is added to any browser. It is lightweight and comfortable grip. It does not have the features of a higher end reader, but is fully functional for read or study comfortably.

I investigated which eReader to get and the Kobo was highly recommended so I got one. I got it out of the box and turned it on, and I got a happy face which I assume was good, so I installed the Kobo app and it hung. The eReader had no response and neither did the app. So I went to a second and a third Windows machine and I got some movement after waiting quite a bit. I don't know if I was successful or not, so I undocked it and tried to use it. I was not successful in getting it to operate, so I left it and tried to turn it on later. The slider on/off is confusing, sometimes lights come on, sometimes not. The lag time in response is HORRIBLE and if there is an error in connection or power it does not inform you. Does not behave in a deterministic manner. Sending it back.

I bought it after a long research, so I've had no surprises so far. It's a good alternative compared to Kindle paperwhite and Nook Glow. I'm without space at home to have new paper books so an ebook reader is a valid choice to save space, money and a good excuse not to lend it to a friend, cause you know that when you lend a book it may never come back :) . Also the illumination feature is awesome since you don't bother anyone while reading at night in bed, on a bus,a train or a plane. Kobo Glo is quite easy to use, maybe the only drawback I found is that sometime you have to touch more than once to turn the page but I can take it. As most ebook readers, it does not get along very well with pdf files, so you'd better buy books in epub format.
This is an amazing eBook reader, totally worth its price! I did a lot of research before buying it and do not regret it. It has a very simple, but attractive design, a very good e-ink screen and an unbelievable battery life (mine lasted for about 30 hours with occasional Wi-Fi usage). There are no excessive features, only the things you need plus little things to keep you interested such as achievements. Design of the interface is very clear, you don't really need a manual to understand anything. And I absolutely love the fonts they use in the menus. The backlight is amazing, especially for the night reading lovers. A very soft light, it makes the screen look like a real book's page. Besides, it is tiny, so it fits the pockets of my coat.
Absolutely happy with this e-reader. Text is very sharp, you can also change font face, size, etc. Haven't used the store though. The lighting is very pleasant and bright too. The book itself has a rubberised case which is cool =) Downsides: - too bright lowest light level (but I can still easily read in the dark, there's no actual discomfort for the eyes) - doesn't have a rotate mode (not sure that I really need it though) - not all fonts support cyrillic (can't call this one critical since there's still few nice fonts I can choose from)
