this game i got originally as a demo on a linux operating system. i loved it so much that i had to get the full version. im usually a FPS of RTS gamer, but this game is now one of my favorites. you have multiple goo balls that roam aimlessly upon structures that you construct. using one of many choices of goo balls, you can build towers, bridges, cranes and so forth to get to a drain spout, signifying the end of the level. of course this game isn't without challenge. so far i have failed at least all of the missions at least once. though this is my first puzzle game. I recommend this game for all, young and old.
I bought this game for the computers at the after school program where I work. My students love it!!!

Screen 1 - Simple, what's the big deal? Screen 2 - Interesting Screen 3 - I guess I'll have to do a little thinking. (end of training levels) Screen 4 - Ask the wife for help. Screen 5 - The wife wants to do it. Screen 6 - We are hoplessly hooked. Remember Tetris? Remember the Rubiks' cube? We all will remember World of Goo. The artwork is quirky and interesting. The music is great. The puzzles are varied and challenging. And here is the kicker: the solution to each puzzle is different for each person who plays. My wife and I both solved the same level building completely different structures.
Excellent game for all ages. It makes one think of how to solve problems. It's cartoonish looking so it's great fun while solving life's problems in the World of Goo. Can be easily redone to improve upon score. A+ game
It's a simple game to actually operate, all drag and drop. There's a very Tim Burton feel to the visuals and backroud music selection. The game is expandable through the 2DBoy website, with both official and user generated content. It is a very, very addicting game.
