Well I had this phone about a month and its a pretty solid phone but, really great built quality, althoug it has some isues, like the back glass cover has begun to loosen a bit from one of the top corners, so i think that makes it non waterproof, there's been a bit of dust going in to the camera lens, updates had been really poor as well, i've waiting for sony or t-mobile to release lollipop android and they hadn't come with a date yet, camera shots sometimes comes to shaky and the 20.7mp only can take shots at 4:3 mode so pictures aren't so impresive when you go watch them on your pc, the focus is not great eather but it's not that bad as could been or as i've seen in other phones. Last but not least is something that bothers me about its built and its the fact that has glass on both sides so i know that if it falls of my hand one will break, its a phone that has to be handle with very much care. Battery life is great, i've compared it to other flag phones like the lg g3 and the samsung s5 and this phone has certainly the best battery life from that range phones. really crisp and clear sound from speaker, headphones, and mic, the phone is really heavy and has a really nice fell on your hand, the camera botton on one of the sides of the phone its really usefull and i like the fact you can take a lot of pictures while you hold it and you can select the picture from that group, the screen in auto mode has really good brightnes for almost all enviroment but the glass its a bit to reflective when you are out and there is to much sun. from a scale from 1 to 10 i give this this phone an 8... centainly sony did a great improvement from previous generation but there is allways room to improve, i would like to try out the xperia z2 to see if they did improved as they could...Read full review
Not a perfect phone, but better than many. At full retail price it's not a value, but this deal makes it good. If you game, even just solitaire, within 15 minutes your CPU overheats. Most don't realize it unless you have a temperature app, but you can feel the heat through the case. I bought 2 of these and one has a distorted mic. Both were near perfect condition. WIFI is excellent and I rarely see it on 4g since I am in a wifi environment everywhere except the car, which pairs instantly upon startup. Display detail is very nice, and I have used it to drive my 60" TV with admirable results, though getting surround audio might take some settings on my system which I have yet to explore. I like the feel and slimness of this phone though I have a leather fold over case which provides good protection but adds to the thickness a bit. I have dropped it a few times and have had zero damage. Touch screen is accurate and sensitive. Speaker is not much but audio out the jack is quite good when connected to good headphones or input to a decent stereo/media center. Oddly enough the camera is not all that great. It has more than enough pixels but the exposures seem to be off and the video just didn't look all that good. But I haven't spent any time with either so it might be needing some fine tuning and adjustment. With the price 1/2 of the comparable Samsung model, I feel this is a good value. I pray I don't have to replace the battery since it doesn't appear to have a single screw showing for disassembly. I would buy this again, and this dealer shipped quite fast as well.Read full review
The shipping was faster than expected, the phone had minor scratches, but barely noticeable. The performance of the Xperia, is truly amazing. Runs at 60 frames per second, even in "beefy" games, such as Asphalt 8. But it is able to run, at minimum, 30 FPS, 720p. When I turned on my Xperia, it had a lot of pre-loaded apps, taking about 1/8 of the storage. The screen is a bit unresponsive when using the keyboard. The camera, is almost equal to a $500 camera, which the phone's price was about $100, when using the Sony camera app, it lags a bit, and it's noticeable. But you can use Google's camera app, it's at average 40 FPS. Besides that, I personally rate this one of the best phones

I have been buying Sony cell phones for almost 2 decades. My first model owned was the T series. I have always been impressed with their innovative features and quality. This Z1S replaced my Euro V, as I returned to CONUS. Considering it's features, it was a great value. I was very fortunate to catch it on sale. I am most fond of it's waterproof and dustproof features. I am frequently in the elements, and need something that is durable in such conditions. It has yet to fail me, and I do not expect it to do so. Battery life is super! I bought the matching dock, and will charge the phone every 2 to 3 days. By far, the only phone that has held charges for the longest times. Please keep in mind, I consider myself as a normal user; that is, I am not constantly on the phone. Please note that this phone is T Mobile branded. It is likely locked to the carrier; however, the description says "unlocked" when buying directly from Sony. I have yet to use another carrier's sim card. Nevertheless, I am content with T Mobile's service.Read full review
