I have had this particular phone model for approximately 8 years. I love its easy view display, outside and inside, the size and feel of the number keys and functional capabilities. Texting is time consuming so I would not rate this particular model as a "text friendly" phone for this reason although it does send and receive texts well. No, it isn't a smartphone but for us who do not want to be "glued" to our phones and must have one for required use, it is a winner. The flip function makes auto dials impossible as well as protects keys. It takes decent pictures, charges quickly and has what I consider to be good battery life however if you are on the phone most of the day you will need to charge it each evening. Negatives: the back of this model phone, if repeatedly taken on and off, can break at the tiny clips located on the inside of the back cover as well as on the phone body itself PLUS the POP Port Connection cover. Not a sturdy design in this regard. Otherwise, a great phone with dependable function and durability.Read full review

NOKIA IS THE BEST!!! I have purchased 3 of these phone's new and 4 used from Ebay. The first 3 were upgrades because my older Nokia was no longer availible from AT&T and I was greatly impressed that Nokia had out-done the previous phone so well. I really wanted the BLUETOOTH and Hands-free options since the local law's were changing, but all the other features are awesome and I use them everyday! The calander wakes me up, keeps me on-time and I never miss a meeting or a birthday, it reminds me to get ready for church so I don't over-sleep and with the repeat function I also know when to get ready to clock-out at work! I use the stop-watch and count-down timer everyday too! The Music Player really rocks on speaker phone and the Bluetooth stereo headsphone allow me to rock-out with my motorcycle helmet on AND answer call's without ever letting go of the handlebars while riding! I take pictures everywhere I go and download them for free via the Micro SD card into my computer when I get home...even video comes out great with this little camera phone. The batter life it great once I figured how to shorten the screen saver settings and the screen is bright enough to use as a flash-light so I don't stumble at night or when I need extra light to use my keys! I actually had to crash my motorcycle on the highway at 55MPH to destroy two of my phones, but used the parts to make one good phone. One other phone actually got submersed in melting snow before it finally quit working while I was driving a tow truck for AAA, but these phone are tuff enough to handle being dropped from the top of 20 foot ladders when I was working in construction and kept on working too! I still end up laying on them and catching them on equipment or hooking them on the seatbelt when I get out of the car/truck and they hit the ground hard, but keep working! Some day the world will run out of this Nokia 6126, but until then I will keep buying more of them... I usually get two day's off one charge, but only one when I use the Hands-free speaker phone option. With the maximum 2GB Mirco SD memory card I have well over 600 pictures and over 300 songs stored in my phone with some room to spare PLUS 4 video's that I shot myself on the fly when every I see something new's worthy or at live concerts So you can really have some phone with this camera/phone/bluetooth/calander/stopwatch/timer/alarm clock/music player/mobile theater/calculator/note book/text/email/voicemail/count down timer/web brouser...did I mention you can also make a phone call with it? LOL Just buy one and you'll know what I mean!Read full review
I replaced my old, abused (dropped a few times) Nokia 6126 with the same model after a few years, as it's quite versatile with a good display (w/zoom) and other nice features: mp3/media player, 1.3 megapixel camera, video (3gp), voice recorder, alarm clock/timers/calendar, calculator, internet capable (java-enabled, not a so-called smartphone), one-touch flip button, bluetooth, email/texting capability (never used, i have a computer, no need to text, it's a phone!), easy to navigate menu & settings, speed/voice-dialing, speakerphone, accepts a 2GB microSD memory card (cannot use HC), compact, well-designed. The battery life is reportedly shorter than other models but quite suitable for my use; batteries and chargers are inexpensive online.
This is one of the best Nokia"Flip" phones I have ever bought. With a "Clam shell" hard outer case the thing is practlly bullet proof. The easy "flip" button reminds me of a "Star Trekk" comunicator! Its got a very large screen & buttons.Nokia's software is easy to navigate. Battery life is good...except if you play games on it! Camera quality is fair(mega pix 1.3). Its good for a quick shot or two.
