Make sure to wipe any ink off the actual cartridge
It leaks all over the place, but it seems that the leaky ink is the overfill ink that comes with it. I guess it's better to ship them with an excess that will spill off than to fill it on the dot only to find that its a small % below the stock volume of ink.

These are the refills you want.
I've used remanufactured ink cartridges for years because of the price break. Often I have been dissapointed when they didn't work, or worked poorly. These cartridges function perfectly.
