There is a flap and door opening so using it as a traditional plat pen, like we planned, isnt optional. The kids like playing in it though so we're keeping it. Very flimsy but super easy to put up.

Not recommended for children rolling over of crawling. They can escape through the flap or tip the entire play yard over it is so light weight. On the other hand it's fun for older kids as a fort or just to lay a sleeping child in when you are nearby.

It’s perfect for babies and toddlers! My eight month old looooves it. I haven’t tried to fold it up yet but it popped out easily and it stays sturdy enough until your little one really decides they want out (it is flimsy upon pressure) but for the price it’s perfect! I bought 400 BPA-free non toxic 2.5” balls which was just right for my baby’s little hands (and cost more than the pit itself), will add 100 jumbo 3” balls when he’s a bit bigger! Very satisfied with my purchase, well worth the money
