It goes into details about drawing the head, and figure. It is not one of those, line for line tutorial books. First learn to draw, then learn figure drawing. After you can do that, then learn manga. This book doesn't teach drawing such as line thickness or perspective, it focuses on manga. It teachs by example. The examples include notes such as, do this, and not like this. Showing the wrong way next to the right way, giving the student an eye for quality manga drawings, and increases their skill at the same time. Good book, recommended.
