The color of the bible is beautiful. It is a chestunt/brown two toned cover. It is easy for me to understand, and the chapters are outlined and the quotes that are provided by women are helpful to me in my daily life. I switched over to the NKJV from the NIV, and to me it has been a great switch. It is easy to understand, and there is also scripture references and maps that are also helpful. I also love the feature of Perspectives that gives insight on topics, like one topic is how to read the Bible if you are a beginner, and then there are notes on topics that have scripture to help you understand Woman's issues easier and better. I would highly recommend this Bible to anyone. I really enjoy reading it, and I hope my review has helped you in your decision making process.
I would definitely purchase this Bible if you are looking for something to GUIDE you in your walk with God. I bought this for a friend and she loves it. I have this exact Bible, but in a different color, and I use it every night. The articles feature spotlights on women throughout the Bible as well as issues that affect women. My only grip is that the pages are too thin and bend easily. I would recommend it to the serious Christian woman.
This bible is really well loved but in decent enough condition that is still useable. I really like how well loved and a bit worn it is. Shocked that their wasn't any highlighting or underlining. But thats ok because I love to mark my bibles and I have already highlighted in it and I used it for a few days before I finally decided to switch bibles. I am glad that I didn't pay much for it.
