Belkin is a very reliable brand and provides really nice high value/low cost products. This is one of them. Generous layout allows at least 6 outlets for those bulky transformer plugs and another 6 outlets for what ever. Nice construction and decent surge protection. Very affordable price and brand reputation makes this an easy choice makes. If I had a gripe it would be about cord length, not everyone needs 8' of garden hose to deal with.

We had this power strip for a little over 3 weeks and so far everything seems to be working as it should. Love having 12 outlets and how Belkin thought to incorporate outlets that were spaced further apart from each other whereby providing the often-needed space for things that have a power-pack style plug in.... we used this power strip for our computer and there's 5 appliances that have the power-pack style plug ins. If this power strip was one of those typical 6-outlet in-line ones, we would have only been able to plug in 3 of those appliances and then wouldn't even been able to use the plug-ins located between the power-pack style plug-ins since they leave no room for the more-standard style plug ins to fit in between them....but now all of the large plug-ins can fit down the sides of the Belkin power strip and all of the more-standard style plug ins can be put down the middle, and so plenty of room and gives much more ability to configure things neatly!Read full review

This Powerstrip is a great layout for a PC with a home server setup. The main PC and monitor cables can go on the center strip, and those pesky transformer boxes, that external hard drive and router manufacturers insist on putting on the plug instead of partway down the cable (like a laptop), can be plugged in to the side plugs. i currently have 3 ext hard drives, the PC, the monitor, a printer, and a externally powered USB hub all plugged into it. I'll be adding my raspberry pi to it soon (probably with another ext hdd). there are no conflicts to the power connectors like on my old power strip.

Got this and others after a lightning surge destroyed 3 TVs, a monitor and 2 computers. Thought they were all in good surge protectors, but soon learned surge protectors have less protection with each surge and mine were very old. This should help protect the TVs and monitors with the coaxial in and out ports hooked to the set top boxes. And the cable modem plug connections that should be secured too. Also bought and installed Composite cables as everything destroyed was connected by HDMI and they are sensitive to surges. Lost two HDMI ports just from cable company strong signals sent. Composite cables carry High Definition as well as HDMI so picture is same. Just safer this way. Can't find enough historical reference to HDMI surge protectors to trust them or warrant the cost for them. All I can do now is hope for the best and replace them every few years or after some surges. 12 outlets is great for eliminating other surge protectors.Read full review

I am picky about my electronics. Having 12 outlets is very useful, especially with the 6 outlets spaced to take power packs and adapters. Also, the 8 foot long cord is wonderful! If you choose to set it on the floor, the outlet covers come in hand to keep the dust and dirt out. I especially love the space saving right angle plug, plus, if space is an issue on your outlet, the angled plug will not block the bottom outlet on the wall.
