I have Family Mobile and live in a rural area where service is spotty. This phone didn't work well in my area which was a surprise because I have had the best results from Lumia 520 & 635. I liked all of the features on the phone and hated not being able to keep it because of the front facing camera. I have went back to 635. I prefer Windows phones that I don't have to go to the expense of insurance or worry about a high price. For under $100 you get a sturdy phone that can handle being dropped without cracking and has almost as many bells & whistles as phones you pay several hundred for.

I purchased this product because I've been interested in the new Nokia smartphones since the original Lumia was announced a few years ago. Their sleek design with extremely responsive touch-screens and tough exterior drew me in from the start. Likes: Size and weight are comparable to iPhone 4s and Samsung smartphones. Ability to use touch screen with my fingernails and/or gloves along with my fingertips is a huge plus. Nokia City Lens is an interesting feature, one that I hope to be able to explore a bit more of as I travel around. Battery life is already a ton better than my old iPhone. Signal strength holds up to Nokia's legacy. I almost always have full bars, even in large older buildings. The ringtone selection that is default on the phone is amazing, and the tones available to get via apps are second to none. Dislikes: It is a bit slick to the grip, as many other reviews state. The speakerphone lacks in volume and clarity at times. The keyboard is a bit cramped on the screen, even more so than on the smaller iPhone screen. I'm having to continually retrain myself to stop with the iPhone muscle memory for the keypad typing. The voice text has profanity censoring on it that is not toggle off-able. Often times it'll censor words that are not even curse words. All in all the phone is great. I hope to get more out of this than I was able to in past phones.Read full review
The phone is responsive, well I come from an HTC Titan and was also responsive but for the WP7.8, this WP8 is running fast. Remember, the Windows Phone ecosystem is not fully yet finish, has some missing functions in your phone and the app store is not like iOS or Android, but with that in mind is a great choice. I'm a user that come from the old Windows Mobile Phone that has a lot of great functions. I was also an iPhone user and I like it and also a Android user and I liked too. But my personal preference belongs to Windows Phone because of the fast and responsive UI, reliable, and the apps that I need are there. The battery life so far so good, average of two or even four days on average use depending on the wireless functions you have enabled. If you are a heavier user I think will be a full day or even less, depending on gaming, internet, videos, etc. The phone is a little more heavy compared with my HTC Titan with bigger screen but after a period of time, I didn't notice to much. I think because the wireless charging capability and some other stuffs is kind of heavy comparing with my old HTC Titan, very good phone too :). The screen is gorgeous, the color are more vivid than the Titan. The design for me is pretty good, not awesome but is pretty good. The build quality seems very solid phone, but I don't want to test on drops or anything else. :) Note: If you unlock this phone and you try to use the Internet Sharing on other company that is not AT&T is not working, just for your information. Personally I'm a happy user of this phone. Is solid, very good quality, nice apps, and another alternative from the market. Thanks for reading.Read full review
I love this phone! It wasn't as technical to use as I thought that it would be, which is a good thing for me, (I'm a grandmother). I take my whole life around in this, it's like my own personal secretary....and Cortana is Awesome. I would like the battery life to extend longer, but given my constant usage, its not bad. I like the size also , not overly bulky...
