I installed crouton so that I could dual boot into linux using a quick keyboard shortcut so that my eight year old could play minecraft on wine. Since I purchased it at Christmas, we've been having LAN parties at home with some classic games from when I was a kid like Diablo II and while I'm the one that has to configure everything, it was worth it for the price. That said, ChromeOS and linux are still somewhat limited in what you can actually install and work, and I wouldn't recommend it unless you are somewhat computer savvy. I'm sure if someone were to use this as a simple Chromebook they would be happy with the device as is.

The description uses the words "extremely minor signs of previous use" which is an exaggeration. There is missing pieces of the outer plastic, and definite signs of wear and tear (worn out plastic by touch pad, minor scratches). The speakers are adequate, but the sound does get fuzzy and is not in perfect working condition. Overall, I still think it's a bargain for the price, but the description is misleading.

Understand this is a refurbished product. It is functional but a lot of cosmetic flaws.....I will make use of it, but hopefully will last for awhile. Will think twice before the next purchase of a refurbish item!

It is everything it was promoted to be. The user learning curve was been very short. My only concern is the shorter than promised battery life, however, I don't take it out of the house so my experience is quite limited. Overall an excellent product.
