I like these speakers for several reasons, 1) They are pretty powerful for their size. The sound is excellent, without that fuzziness that you get with other "cheap" brands. That brings me to point 2) they are cheap!!! Great quality for the price. I have bought two sets and plan on buying another. The look is point 3) very squared off design, they are attractive and blend well with the bigger screens, without distraction. And last of the good points, the remote!!!, what a cute little thing this is. The ability to program it to any operating media player is very cool, but it does have drawbacks as well, it's too tiny, gets lost quick. It would be a blessing if they were wireless as well. The connecting cord between the two speakers is annoying sometimes. But all and all they are a good buy. That's my review. Thanks for Asking.Read full review
These are great speakers. I got them for less than $30 on eBay, so I got a pretty good deal, but I would literally easily pay the MSRP price (i think their like $80) because no matter where you are in the room, you have great sound (you dont have to be facing the speakers because of the omni-directional output). Another great thing about these speakers is that you dont need any power source to run them because it plugs right into the USB port. No tangles because only one wire goes into the port.. overall great sounding speakers, and I would recommend these to family/friends....
I wanted to get some USB connected speakers and I thought that they would be plentiful and inexpensive. I was wrong. Not very many manufacturers make digital USB speakers. Most of them use USB for power and then have a headphone jack for the audio. That's not what I wanted. Someone gave me an Altec-Lansing mini USB speaker several years ago but I wanted something larger. For some reason the Altec-Lansing speaker was $145. Other manufacturers had some surround sound systems but that wasn't what I wanted. I found the Logitech Z-5s on EBay. They were exactly what I needed. Great sound, only one connection and the used ones I got were far less expensive than new ones. I would recommend these speakers for anyone that wants good, clear sound but does not need a surround system and does not have an extra power outlet.Read full review

These small, unobtrusive speakers put out a generous, full sound at a remarkably low price and add a whole new dimension to my laptop use. They're not meant to be portable but they are lightweight and convenient. My stereo system is awaiting a build-in that may not happen any time soon, and now when guests come I plug in my collection of iTunes. The sound is surprisingly good. I'd definitely recommend these to a friend and they far exceed the smaller, uni-directional Logitech portables in sound quality and depth.
Pretty strong bass and the stereo sounds, 30USD is a beautiful price to me. Problem is that you have to put it in front of your face, if u are not standing in front of the speakers, the feeling will be totally different. Another problem is the too strong bass. Though no way for me to fine tune the speaker, too heavy bass echo may annoy my neighbors, I wish they will not be mad at me. Best situation to operate the speakers is 0.5 meter in front of the user, it shows perfect feeling. Otherwise, don't complain too much, 30USD is worth enough to have this feeling.
