Good: Product appears to be well made. Remains to be seen how long it will stay functional - see my comments about "Of Concern." The cables are of a good length and it was nice that they came with the unit. On the "official" branded connection device you need to provide the cables, e.g. HDMI. I was able to connect the Ipad Mini and Iphone 5S to the TV pretty easily. Bad: This is not a direct issue or reflection on the item itself but it is about managing expectations concerning the unit that might lead people to think negatively about it. If you are getting this unit thinking that you will be able to stream live programming from your Iphone to the T.V. you might be disappointed. For instance AT&T DirectTV does not work. My research shows many people have encountered this issue and this misconception. Of Concern: The main body of the unit with the HDMI connection on it gets pretty warm, some would say hot even. I found this to be true as long as there is power connected to the unit regardless of whether it is plugged into the T.V. or not. With that amount of heat my concern is will it be just a matter of time before something inside the unit just melts.Read full review

I have tried this on three TV'S and it will not work on any of them. It's basically an overpriced charger cord for my iphone now. The instructions tell you to set the phone as a wifi hotspot. Makes no sense as I am on a good WIFI signal at my home. Would not mirror on any TV!
